Aluminum Alloys
Atlas imports, processes and distributes a range of aluminium sheet, coil and plate through the Atlas Specialty Metals business. Atlas sources the majority of its aluminium sheet and coil locally. The mill product arrives in coil form and is then processed (polished, cut-to-length, slit or recoiled into smaller coils) at Atlas Metals Processors (AMP). From here, the product is transported to the various distribution centres across the country.
Applications for aluminium sheet and coil include roofing, cladding and household products. Applications for aluminium plate include marine vessels, truck bodies and tippers.
